Episode 50. Syrah / Shiraz

In episode 11 of our course gave a brief introduction to the Syrah grape, which as already mentioned, is also known as Shiraz, but it is a grape that deserves its own episode , because there is still much to learn about this variety.

France and Australia are the 2-producing countries where this grape is more popular. Wines made from this variety are usually large and powerful, but not as strong as a Bordeaux or a Cabernet Sauvignon from California or Chile, and personality reflect much of the land where grown.

In general, you can describe their wines as Merlot on steroids, and are an excellent option to exit the wines as ever.
